Thank you for checking out my portfolio! I am a recent Design & Interaction graduate from UC San Diego and an aspiring UX/UI designer. My goal is to be able to make lasting impacts on the community around me through developing products and solutions with user-centered design.
🌟 Core Values
User-centered
Who do we make products for? The user! It is important to put the users at the center of design because they are who we work for and they know more about what needs to be solved than us. Conducting research and creating effective connections with the users are key values in design.
Collaboration
Most of the time, you can't do it alone. I value working hand in hand with not only the teams that I work with but with the users that I design for. Effective communication between one another as well as giving and receiving feedback is what moves the design process forward and leads to great products.
Inclusion
There is no such thing as a bad idea! Everyone comes from different backgrounds and have had different experiences throughout life, which makes them view the world in a unique way. These perspectives are valuable when it comes to design, so I always strive to consider every idea presented
🌹 My Branding
What’s with the roses?
Roses are my favorite flower and I just love the aesthetic that they bring to anything. I really wanted to incorporate them into my brand for these reasons, but also because the colors on a rose represent who I am as a designer!
The red rose petals represent the passion that I have for design and the creation of impactful products
The green stem and leaves represent the growth of not only myself as a designer, but also the growth of new and existing communities

Fun Facts
My dream job would be to land a UX/UI designer role at a major game company
I originally wanted to major in Computer Science, but UCSD accepted me as Undeclared and I was unable to switch into the major (unlucky lottery pick applications). CogSci Design was my second choice, and I ended up enjoying it much more than Computer Science!
I don’t know how to swim, and I honestly don’t plan on learning because the thought of drowning scares me
My second favorite flower would be the red spider lily (another red and green flower)
I use a Google Spreadsheet for mood journaling, and I have been doing this for over a year now
